PRESCRIPTION REFILL

Prescription Refill Request

Please allow 2 business days for your prescription request to be approved, filled and available for pick-up.

This gives the doctor time to review your pet's history and either authorize the refill or request an exam or blood test. Also, some refills are special order from a compounding pharmacy and thus have to be special ordered as they make it up for your pet only.

All animals must have an annual exam required by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. If we have not seen your pet in the last year, or if the last time your pet was in and he/she was ill, the doctor may require you to come in for an exam. Refilling medications, including heartworm preventative medications, for any animal without an annual exam is not permitted by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.

If for some reason your pets prescription cannot be refilled, someone from our staff will contact you.

A member from our staff will contact you when your pets medication is ready for pick-up.
